Turn Customers into Brand Ambassadors

It's no secret that referral programs are one of the best ways to drive new revenue to your store, and increase revenue from existing customers. With Lootly, we make it easy to launch your own program in just a few minutes. 

Step 1: Setup rewards for the Sender and Receiver 

With Lootly, we offer the ability to reward both the sender of the referral link (ie: your customer), and the receiver a reward for their first purchase (ie: new customer). 

To get started, click on Referrals within your Lootly account, then click on Rewards

A referral program is successful when both the Sender and the Receiver are rewarded for doing so. This creates an incentive for your customers to share your store with their friends & family, and by doing so helps to convert your customers into ambassadors for your brand. 

Step 2: Select which referral channels are available

Within the Lootly widget that sits on your site, we make it easy for customers to click & share their referral link to their friends and family across social media and email. 

Lootly supports 4 methods: 

  • Facebook
  • Twitter
  • Email
  • Direct Link   (enabled by default)

We recommend to enable Facebook & Email at a minimum. To get started, click on Referrals within your Lootly account, then click on Sharing

Step 3: Customize the referral landing page

When a potential customer clicks on the referral link, they are brought to your homepage by default, and automatically shown the widget with a coupon for their first order. 

Lootly allows you to customize the exact URL of where you would like to send customers to, after clicking on the link. This is important, because you want to make sure the referred user understands the great items you offer, and what you makes unique. 

To get started with customizing the URL, click on Referrals within your Lootly account, then click on Settings.
