Overview
Bigcommerce users can now offer store credit as a reward option in their program.
Follow this guide to learn how to configure this in your account, how to read data about this reward in reports and how it works for your customers.
Please note that this reward option is available only for Bigcommerce users on the Advanced plan of Lootly.
Step 1: Add a new reward type in spending actions
To add a new spending action type, navigate to Points -> Spending -> Bigcommerce has to be connected for “Store Credit” to show as an option. Click to add Store Credit reward type.
Step 2: Configure the store credit reward page
Configure your store credit offer and redemption rules.This would work similarly like the other reward types.
Set how many points should the customer redeem to obtain the store credit.
Finish with the rest of the configurations and click Save on the top of the page to save your changes.
Once the reward is enabled, it will become available for your customers to use.
How the store credit reward works
Each time the customer redeems points for a store credit reward, the store credit amount gets added to their Bigcommerce store credit balance within their customer profile.
When the customer then places an order and goes to the checkout page, they will see the available store credit they can use on their order.
