When you import your customers into Lootly you can now instantly sync their loyalty data with the 3rd party apps you have connected, like Klaviyo or Gorgias (and others).

You may want to do this for various reasons, but most importantly, all customers will have updated loyalty data in your 3rd party apps from the moment of importing them into Lootly and connecting the apps instead of waiting for this to update automatically.

This guide explains how to do this and what to keep in mind for the action to be successful.


When to manually sync your customers with data from 3rd party apps

Note that a manual customer sync is done only when you import your customers into Lootly, so you can push their initial data into their profiles in the 3rd party app.

From that point on, the integration itself will handle the update of loyalty data in 3rd party apps.


How to manually sync customer data

  1. Go to Integrations in your main Lootly menu -> Manage

  2. On the right top corner of the screen you’ll see the “Sync Customers” button

3. Click the button -> a popup window will tell you how many customers will be synced

4. Start the sync

Few things to keep in mind for this action:

  • The manual sync tool will sync customer loyalty data across all connected and enabled 3rd party apps. For example, if you have Klaviyo and Zendesk connected, the tool will sync the data with both apps.

  • When you start the sync, you’ll see a progress bar on your screen. Do not leave this page until the progress bar completes. Otherwise, the sync will stop and it won’t be successful.


Which apps are affected by the manual sync customers action

All apps that you connect to Lootly whose purpose is to automatically pull and display customer loyalty as custom properties will be affected by the manual sync action.

Today, this list includes:

  • Klaviyo

  • Zendesk

  • Attentive

  • Cinch

  • Gorgias

  • Intercom

  • Mailchimp

  • Active Campaign

  • Hubspot

  • SmartrMail
