The affiliates program by Lootly allows merchants to run their affiliate marketing initiatives in a clean, simple and fully customizable way. This guide is a brief overview of what the affiliate product offers.

All the screens explained in this guide can be accessed from the Affiliates tab from the main menu in your Lootly account.

Affiliates Overview

In the overview screen, you can see a snapshot of your most important affiliate program information:

  • Pending affiliates

  • Pending orders

  • Pending payments

  • Latest affiliate activity

You can click the View button on each information box for quick access to that specific area.

Latest Affiliate Activity

This table shows only 10 items at all times. This is the latest unique activity that happened in the account, such as new affiliate sign up, new order received, new payment sent. If new events don’t occur, but changes to these items happen they will update in the same row in this table (as opposed to adding new activity rows). If new events do happen, they will take priority and show at the top of the events table.

Settings

In the settings screen, you can enable/disable your affiliate program as well as set up some other program variables such as:

Fraud detection - the fraud engine checks whether an affiliate is trying to place a fraudulent order. We recommend to keep this setting enabled at all times your affiliate program is live.

Payment settings - configure if affiliate orders are automatically approved for commission calculation.

Sharing options - customize all widget sharing options for affiliates.

Registration page url - Customize the appearance of your affiliate registration page link - the default registration page link looks like this: https://lootly.io/aff_signup/ - you can customize this link by adding a name or a reference in it after the /aff_signup/ portion of the link. This is usually your affiliate program's branded name.

If you wish to customize the domain of the registration page, you can do so by setting up a custom sender domain.

Product SKU Exclusion - exclude specific products from being eligible to earn commissions.
